Music Festival Experience/ Travel Guide

Hey babes!!! I’m back. I went on vacation for my bday to Miami for Rolling Loud... well let me tell you it wasn’t what I expected. This was my first music festival but I had to go because the line up was dope!
Well I want to tell you about my experience and some tips from what I learned. One the trip was awesome and I saw all my favorite artist! It was the best way to spend my trip.

One going to a festival look at your line up and it usually will determine the main genre of artist.. well this was a rap fest soooo I should have expected things to get rowdy.
Number one of you aren’t a rager or a party animal... DO NOT try to go to the from or middle... I literally got sucked into a mosh pit and almost drowned... yes.. drowned by people. I was literally swimming through people and we were being pushed left to right.. it was insannneeeee! All the artist wanted everyone one to be super hype so they encouraged mosh pits.. well that was my first experience and it was a near death experience.
Two... stay HYDRATED... you are literally surrounded by body heat and just heat.. you will get drained very fast. I don’t recommend consuming alcohol or any type of narcotics... unless you are really hydrated... we saw tooo many people pass out because of the lack of hydration and being under the influence.
Three.. dress light. You will literally sweat to death it’s so hot.. also pack a puncho or umbrella for weather purposes... well I wish I would have checked the weather.. on the third day we got rained on bad and had to purchase a poncho there. Save yourself and be smart pack it.
Four.. invest in a water backpack.. that will help you stay hydrated thought out the day and honestly in my opinion is the best investment.
Five.. honestly just plan ahead.. these things are not cheap! Especially if you aren’t in your home town.. think about food, stay, transportation and out that into you over all budget.
Six be very careful! Don’t take anything from anyone or don’t get in strangers cars even if y’all became festival buddies... not everyone always has good intentions!
Seven just have fun!!!! But be safe of course!
There’s more things to consider but those are the things that stuck out to me and came across my mind at multiple times while I was there. Coachella is a dream and would be the last festival I go to if I ever get the chance but i don’t think festivals are for me... I would rather just have a nice vacay! But I really enjoyed myself and I won’t ever forget this trip!!
